Mighty and OM Records present a very special night featuring the SF premier of the legendary DJ T. As of late, Dj T is the name on everyone’s lips. It doesn’t come as a surprise since he’s everyone’s favorite German. You might have admired his work as a publisher for Groove Magazine since 1989, the zine about the electro life-style, or you may have appreciated his earlier club operating at the Monza in 1999. Or you might also listen to and enjoy the successful artists produced under his label Get Physical (M.A.N.D.Y., Heidi, Booka Shade, Audiofly) For many years DJ T has been known as the "DJs DJ." Today, the Dj T adventure continues as a new page is turned. We are celebrating his 40 years as he embarks on his Inner Jukebox tour, promoting his latest album, co-produced with Thomas Schumacher, comprised of fresh new beats. Four years after the release of his debut album, Boogie Playground, the Inner Jukebox answers to the anticipation of his loyal fans. It’s not just about club tracks; it’s also about re-visiting classics, and telling a story about electronic dance music and its succession. The Inner Jukebox focuses on real, bold, energetic house, steering away from the glorified mainstream that pollutes dance-floors everywhere. It’s not a concept album, just the good stuff! Quality dance music that could only be brought to us by Dj T. He claims Inner Jukebox is his most mature work, |
| and we are looking forward to seeing this new facet of our beloved dj. Support will come from Om Records DJ Fluid, [KONTROL]'s Sammy D, and Deep Blue's DJ Rooz. The evening kicks off with a free vodka Red Bull bar from 9pm-10pm. Don't miss this rare opportunity to see a true genius at work! | |
